Oakhill Drive Public school IR 2019

Problem of Practice:     Are our lessons worthwhile?
Is the lesson tied to a curriculum outcome or outcomes?
Is the lesson content worthwhile?
Does the lesson meet student needs?

 As part of the Oakhill Drive PS Instructional Rounds (Term 3, 2019), participants were asked to complete a pre-round task which included reading the chapter from Moss and Brookhart's book Formative Classroom Walkthroughs on a 'Worthwhile Lesson'.
Using the 'Worthwhile Lesson Guide' (see attached PDF), teachers noted questions about the guide in preparation for the Instructional Rounds. 
Participants each chose a KLA (English, Maths, Geography or History) on which they would later plan a worthwhile lesson in cross-school groups.
