REASONINg - THE HEART OF MATHEMATICS
A practical document, Assessing Mathematical Reasoning from reSolve describes the component skills for reasoning and how it can be assessed. The second document, Reasoning in the Australian Curriculum, looks at the role of reasoning in mathematics, some advice for teachers, and provides an illustration of a task that requires reasoning.
